Drenica Nacion has been a fine artist for more than half her life, winning numerous art competitions…she’s also obsessed with pets.  I’m obsessed with art and animals, painting dogs is the perfect storm for my obsession.

Why I started painting dogs.

When her co-owned dog “Titan” had passed, she channelled her emotions into her art to create a water color art nouveau style that is 100% unique.

Based in the West Side Areas of Los Angeles, it is very easy to arrange a meet in Venice Beach, Mar Vista, Santa Monica, or Pacific Palisades areas.

I’ve always been a fan of symmetry, watercolors as well as the artist Alphonse Mucha who is credited with starting the style of Art Nouveau. Through the appreciation of his art work she developed her own style and combined it with animal pet portraits.

Other Parts of Life

In the other part of life she is the lead designer at and does Branding and Design at Santa Monica Design, loves riding her bike at the beach, and inventing new keto recipes.
