Steps for Getting your Dog or Pet Portrait in Los Angeles Area

If you are in the Los Angeles area, then I would love to conduct a face to face meeting with your dog or pet! If you aren’t in the area, then the interview will consist of you sending video and pictures.

Sign Up and Make Deposit

I am only one artist, as a result there may be slight delay when I start your painting. To maintain order and be fair, I have created a way to make a list of those who make deposits.

Payment and the Dog/Pet Interview

When your name comes up, now is the time for the interview! If in the Los Angeles area we can arrange a meetup at a Park in Santa Monica where I can meet and play with your pet. In addition to photos, this enables me to have a closer look at the details and personality of your dog or pet.

Now its Painting Time

After the interview and payment, now it is time to paint! I first do various pencil sketches of the dog or pet till I come up with something I like. After my sketches I then re-sketch my favorite in a larger format of water color paper. After the sketch is complete I then begin experimenting with the colors and then start on the painting. During this process I will give you 3 updates. The process can take between 5 – 18 days, inspiration is not an exact science which what makes every painting unique.

Delivery or Pickup

The pricing does not include delivery, pickup, or framing. Once the painting is finished, we can meet in Santa Monica with your final painting. Or if not able to meet because of distance, shipping can be arranged. Shipping fees can differ depending on the distance and method. I do not charge extra for packaging, the only cost will be you paying for the shipping label and I can handle the rest.

Deposit

$99 or 199

To be placed on the list, I require a deposit. I have a priority list and a standard list. For the people that need their painting extra fast, I have created the priority list. Both lists will give you the same quality of art.

Start Painting

Art Commencement

$1200 or 1400

When you position in the line is ready, you will be contacted to make the remaining payment for the painting. Once payment is fulfilled, the interview and dog painting will begin.
